Privacy for glass without closing off the space
Frosted window vinyl gives clear glass a clean, etched-glass appearance while allowing diffuse light to pass through. It is a practical way to improve visual privacy and create a more considered interior without replacing the existing glazing.
Where frosted vinyl works well
- Office partitions and meeting-room glass
- Clinics, consultation rooms and reception areas
- Shopfront privacy bands
- Internal doors and glazed entry panels
- Commercial interiors requiring visual separation
The film can be used as a full-coverage panel or positioned as a privacy band. Logos, lettering and decorative cut patterns can also be prepared as a separate custom service.
How to measure and order
Enter the finished width and height of each rectangular film panel in millimetres, then enter the quantity. Measure the glass carefully at several points because frames and glazing beads may not be perfectly square. If you want the installer to allow an edge gap, provide the full pane dimensions and confirm the final cut size before production.
The online price covers: rectangular frosted privacy vinyl cut to the finished dimensions entered.
Quoted separately: printed details, computer-cut logos or patterns, artwork preparation, removal of existing film, glass preparation, freight and installation.
Artwork
For logos, lettering or decorative shapes, vector artwork such as PDF, AI or EPS is preferred. Fonts should be outlined and fine lines should be reviewed at the intended finished size before cutting.
Privacy and glass suitability
Frosted vinyl obscures direct views but is not an absolute privacy, safety or security film. Silhouettes may remain visible depending on lighting, distance and film coverage. Glass type, coatings, seals and surface condition can also affect suitability, so specialist glazing or installation advice may be needed for unusual glass.
